AMSPAR

The Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Managers, Administrators and Receptionists
(AMSPAR) was established in 1964 with the aim of creating and promoting appropriate qualifications, initially for those working as medical secretaries and subsequently for medical receptionists, administrators and practice managers.

AOS

Association of Secretaries.
Formed in the late 1970s to promote the role of the secretary and to fund raise for charity. Members meet locally once a month and nationally at their Annual Conference in October. Branches in Scotland, North of England, The Midlands and Birmingham.

IAVA

International Association of Virtual Assistants.
The largest group of virtual assistants in the UK supporting a large network of professional people from all backgrounds, including: book-keepers, secretaries, marketing consultants, PR and media journalists, graphic designers, conference and event organisers.

European Management Assistants.
An international quality network of management support professionals who focus on their personal development and on the future of their profession.
