2 years ago, my boss asked me to fulfill an ergonomics program she'd been putting together. In essence, she wanted to make sure that everyone had the information they needed.

I've been posting articles weekly on our company website but the information is getting redundant. I was wondering if anyone had a good ergonomics program at their work that I can model after?

Would you be kind enough to post just a few pointers as to what you had posted on your company website?  That would help people to give you some answers.  Thank you.

I completed an online ergonomics exercise when I started in my current job so unfortunately cannot share as it was uploaded to my pc for one-off use.

Are you being asked to set something up eg. create a programme for others to use or are you just gathering findings?

I would have thought your HR department would have had an ergonomics policy in place for their employees.

We do have an ergonomics policy in place via our HR department. I'm part of the HR department as an admin asst. My task is to post weekly announcements on our Intranet about Ergonomics. So I've found the Knowledge Desk's Ergonomics information quite helpful. I just feel like it's getting pretty redundant and lame.

I've posted information on RSI, Stretches to do at your desk, How to's, etc. I feel like this needs to be expanded somehow.

I was thinking of creating an Ergonomics Section instead of posting weekly announcements. This way all the information is accessible on our Intranet in one place.

What else is there to do though? I'm having a brainstorming blank...

Well one thing to consider is expanding it from simply ergonomics to Safety. That will give you a much wider pool of tips and articles to draw from.

Thanks this suggestion has really helped. I've gone onto the OSHA.gov website and found different information on HealthCare and Ergonomics. Your suggestion on broadening this to Safety was the insight I needed.

Thank you for your help everyone!
