Which side of pond?  Where I'm located car is considered standard, our local bus system in not the best.  I don't think a car was required for my position but as part of the orientation paperwork I was asked to furnish proof of auto insurance.  I wonder if this is another way to background check also?

I haven't seen that, but I haven't been looking all that closely at them either. You may be right about the errands, though I would be very cautious of doing errands in my personal vehicle. could also be that they want to be sure their employee has reliable transportation.

Hello everyone.  Coming out of lurkdom to pose a question. I have been looking for a job since the beginning of February. I am seeing more and more the requirement "MUST" have your own car with valid insurance. Whaaat? Guess you will need it to run the personal errands that is also included in the job description. has anyone else noticed this am I nuts?

To see your bookmarks, tap in the center of the page to get the options, then tap on the table of contents icon (just to the right of the Library button). This shows you (big) thumbnails of all the pages. The bookmarked ones will show the red ribbon in the their top right corner. To see just the bookmarked pages tap the ribbon icon at the top right of the header.

Another option was a program called iAnnotate

We're trying to be smarter and use ipads for management team meetings etc. A few of us then tried to use our ipads for our Board meetings where the papers run to over 200 pp.  And we got lost.  Despite making the PDF with bookmarks, they do not show up on the ipad.  I thought I'd found something in 'settings' to allow them and make sure that was enabled, but it's still not working.

Any ideas?
