I have had a really bad day today, courtesy of the morons who stole all the electrical cables (along with a whole load of other stuff) from the Mayfair telephone exchange.  Our Network was down until about 15.30hrs, so no productive work got done. and of course there is only so much filing you can do when there is nothing to file!  AHHHHHHH!.

Anyone else out there get clobbered by the same thing?  Apparently hundreds of companies were in the same situation!

Not today, Jess.  It's just awful when things like that happen.  I very nearly was delayed on a long (200 miles or so) journey from the north to London recently because some bright spark had helped themselves to a tasty bit of cabling from the track side.

Then there is construction work.  My company is at Tower Bridge and this area is still very much one big building site.  We regularly have some one drilling through electricity/phone cabling in pavements and it takes for ever to repair.  And it generally happens when you have a crucial meeting or project on the boil.

Hey ho!  What can't be cured must be endured.

I hope you have a better day.
