Best Hotel in London

I have been asked to find out 'the best' (i.e. five star rating) hotel in London, for some very important visitors.

This is new for me, as our small company normally does things on a budget (I suspect we're not paying for this one)!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the best hotel in London is?

Any idea on the location they need?  If it's around the City, 'Threadneedles' is supposed to be very good?
