Try this...can you do it?
Take a moment for a little exercise at your desk. While sitting or standing, make CLOCKWISE circles with your right foot. While doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.
Note: Make sure your foot continues to go in the Clockwise direction
p.s. I failed repeatedly!

yeh.... I did it.... The only way I could was to start circling my foot then draw the 6 starting in reverse as it were - it works anyhow. Pam Peer Moderator

ROFL Ellen, wait till you start talking to yourself - do you know those ones, about driving everyone you work with crazy?! Things like talking back to the monitor, and shouting at non existent people, then there's giggling hysterically in the loo, and constant hand washing (a la Lady macbeth)... I love all those daft things and on a tough day when nothing is going right and everyone in the world except me, of course, seems to be totally incompetent and couldn't organise a you know what in a brewery, I think of these and laugh. They're a great relaxer. Jackie www.secretarialsummit.com Peer Moderator

You cheated Pam ... the whole reason you can do it while writing the 6 backwards is that you are then moving in a clock-wise direction when writing. The 6 written correctly goes counter-clockwise and is why the difficulty. I know, because I've sat here for several minutes trying to get the darn thing to work right. (man is this productive or what?! ) I'm normally very good at these type of drills (mind over matter type of things) and can normally get them working appropriately, but this one has me stumped. I love it! Thanks for sharing Peana! CountriGal Peer Moderator

Well....I already talk to myself, plead with my monitor, shout at people not here and few others I'm sure I'm missing. The guys here are used to it. The running joke in my family is that as long as you don't answer back, it's ok to talk to yourself. If you do answer, you're crazy.....well I guess I'm crazy 'cus I always answer back.

I CAN do it, if I concentrate really hard on the foot, and make the 6 REALLY slow.

Ellen, I was just going to say that at least talking to yourself you always have the last word and are always correct . Chris68 Peer Moderator
