Hi
Does anyone know of a good website that lists DJ's/bands in a local area that are available for company events? I'm trying to find DJ's in the greater london area for an event next week.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I don't know of any websites - the best advice would be to try either local hospital radio and see if anyone can do it or your local college media course to see if any aspiring DJs can help! Jackie www.iqps.org Peer Moderator

Thanks - I'll look into that possibility.
I just have to say I think Deskdemon is great - really useful.

Here in the US, many of the musicians union offices (American Federation of Musicians) will have a list of DJs available for gigs (as well as live musicians). I don't know if the same situation exists in the UK. Otherwise, your other suggestions sound promising. Good luck in your search....

For live music, contact your local community music school. I work for one, and we have many musicians that play all different types of music.
