Hello everyone!  hope you are all doing great.  I work as a PA here in the UK and have been pulling together a research article on PA's and what problems, issues, they experience in their day to day job.  I know what issues I face but don't know if they are a common problem.  I'd really appreciate your help to let me know what really makes your job hard, is it communication, software issues, or like me a boss who doesn't say what he means lol..., it's due in on Friday and I've not been making much headway.  I need to say what the problems are and how they could be better.  Please please please if you can help I'd be really grateful!  Thanks heapsx

Newman, hi.

We have had this topic before in various guises, so to start you off and to save you trawlling throught the forums, here is a link on a similar posting....

I still maintain communication is key...after all we DON'T have magic wands nor crystal balls to assist us throughout the day, nor are we miracle workers, although sometimes men think differently which in some cases might be a compliment.

Slightly different answers...I guess it depends what day of the week you ask the question!  Smiley

We don't know what we don't know.
Being talked down to and not respected.
Not being involved in the planning stage, but expected to work magic to make things happen.
Not being treated as a business partner.
