We have started an admin group where 12 of us meet up once a month to share and discuss company and department issues. I think the next step is to get our c-level to acknowledge our group. Not necessarily fund it,but to say yes this is a group that can help the company and we will support and listen to what they have to say. The other admin who helped create this group says, why bother. We both think we are right so looking to see what do others think?

Hello Faith and welcome
I agree with you, this group can potentially add value to the organisation so should be supported by the company.
There are many admin networks though which lose sight of how they can add business so if you want to get the buy in you need to really think about the aims and outcomes of the group and state them.
Good luck and do let us know what you eventually decide.
Best wishes
Cathy

Two two cents, corporate buy in much better, but the group shouldn't depend on that to move forward.
