Not a stupid question at all, my understanding of it is darling husband and darling son. I could be wrong but that what I always thought it to be. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Chris68

I've been told "dear" instead of "darling". I've also been told that it will stand for something else, ESPECIALLY if said hubby and/or son have been up to no good.  |
