I'm stuck here with minutes that are SO tedious to do.  I have another set of minutes to do after I've finished these and it's only Monday!

And there are still nearly three weeks till my hols.

Hey-ho!  No use grumbling.  Best get on with it.

When is it Friday, please?

Oh Rain, hang on, I'm just going to put the kettle on.  Will that help? lol

Remember get the big jobs out of the way early in the week and by Wed it won't seem so bad.

Kettle (tea in a proper cup with a saucer) and a slice of cake, please.  That'll do nicely.

Thank you.

Poor Gee.  It must be a nightmare for you.  You've been in my thoughts quite a bit in the past few days.  I hope the job hunting is proving fruitful.

Well it should be quieter this week.  I did all the running around seeing agencies last week.  I have an interview tomorrow for a temp job and my CV has been put forward for a few other positions, both temp and perm.

It has been nice to chill and relax this afternoon.

Thanks Rain et al.

Hi Raindance -- I feel your pain.  Not so much minutes but I'm entering all the new purchase orders for the new fiscal year.  The newfangled system is clunky and slow.  (Not an improvement if you ask me!) And EVERYTHING in this joint needs a formal purchase order.  (No such thing as "petty cash" or a company credit card for small stuff.)  It's ridiculous.  And tedious. And.....

Hey, ya know what, I'm going to put on a pot of coffee over here in the States and see if there's anything good left in the cafeteria to munch on.  (They make a heavenly lemon pound cake that they sell by the slice, but it's usually gone by the time the breakfast crowd is gone!)

Well, I'm pleased to say that I finished those awful minutes!  Now I just have a heap of other work to do.  Fortunately, Bossie is away at the moment so I have more opportunity to allocate my time as I wish.

I don't usually get so ratty about minutes - or any other of the tasks I have to do - but we've had so many meetings lately, and these are high-level day-long board meetings.

Hey-ho. The work is done, now I can get on with other stuff.

Have a great day everyone.
