Does anyone know if it is possible to view more than one person's calendar at one time.

In the event that you are supporting more than one person -  is there no way in microsoft outlook to view all the diaries at once??

thank you,xx

Hi Caz

Yeah there is such a thing I currently see for peoples calenders by only logging on as me.

I will try and find out how it was set up .. You could try posting this in software survival as I am sure someone will know straight away in that forum.

Hi Caz (are you a new one?)

This is all about permissions.  You will need to be given permission from whoever's calendar etc you want to have access to and then set your own computer up to display those bits as a secondary folder to your own out look.  Sure, so this does not show all the diaries at the same time, but you can have instant and up to date info at the click of a button.  I used to have up to 8  outlooks for my guys attached to my own.  made life easier all round.

Here is a trick I use - if you want to see v quickly if someone is available for a meeting:

1)  Click Calendar
2)  New Meeting Request
3)  In "To" box choose invites - you're not creating a mtg just checking their calendar
4)  Choose date and time you are checking
5)  Then click Scheduling tab and you should see if they are free

I know it's not ideal - but the more names you add the easier it is to see the availability of a group of people.

You also need to make sure that the Outlooks are actually networked (usually via Exchange Server), versus installed on separate machines only.

Or you could upgrade to Office 2003, one of the new features gives the ability to see all the calendars you have permission to see side by side. I've found it v. useful.

I know this most likely will not help, but maybe you can search outlook for "multi-user calendar views" or something like that.

We use Novel GroupWise and I can pull up simultaneously the calendars of all the users who I have proxy rights to.  The down side is you can only see one day at a time, so you have to keep scrolling looking for available times.  The other thing that works is that we can busy search all the attendees, their meetings show up as grey areas in a chart and if you have proxy rights you can hover over the grey area and see what the meeting details are.  Maybe one of these options is possible in Microsoft.

I feel your pain.  You often need to know where they are at any given time to know if you can "pull rank" and make them reschedule their other meeting.  The joys of scheduling.  Good luck to you.

If you have XP, there is an icon called "Schedules..." that lets you choose which calendars you want to see. Assuming you have full rights to their calendars, you can see everyone's appointment details all at once. It can take a bit to load, since there is a lot of information there, but it's a nice tool. It can be difficult to read, but if you hover over an appointment with the mouse, it will pull it up in the regular size. Clicking on the appointments will open them up, and you can schedule meetings for your entire group.

I only just discovered this after seeing your question, so I'm sure there are others with more details.

Hope this helps!

That's the same tool I used Jahdra - see above.
