I just thought I would share with you that one year ago this week I interviewed for my current role, and at the beginning of October I will be here 12 months.

Whilst I have settled a "little" and more or less "adjusted" to the changes that have taken place, nothing much has changed with the role.

Many changes have yet to take place including the appointment of a new female CEO.

I have to be thankful however that I have a job and whilst I may not be using my skills to their full potential, I am employed.

Thanks to those who have replied to my many postings and given advice.  Your help and support has been filed and noted.  Smiley

Happy 1st Anniversary Gee!! Grin

Time has gone so quickly - I have followed your postings about the job you are in with interest.  As you say, at least you have a job even tho you are not using all your skills - am sure you are keeping your hand in even if just for yourself.

Your responses to my questions have been greatly appreciated by me - thank you Wink

Good luck with all the changes planned - hopefully they will benefit you in the long term.

Keep on posting Cheesy

Oh my it is just amazing how quickly the time goes. Seems like a mere few months since you started there. I am coming up on two years myself at my present position and I can't believe it has already been that long.

No matter what happens there gee, whether you stay or go, I wish you all the best and I hope you find work that fulfills and challenges you.

Blimey O Reilly as my mother would've said!  Gee - congratulations.  With all the trials and tribulations, twelve months is one heck of a milestone and well do you for sticking it out.

It will be really interesting to hear how things (may) change with woman at the top of the tree...

Btw, everything Cathy17said - goes double for me! Wink

Happy Anniversary!

Thanks to everyone.

The first 3 months were definitely the hardest.  Not only did I have to adjust to a new company and a new working environment, but also to a new earlier start time which made the mornings very long.

As you say Gem, with a new woman at the top, it will be very interesting indeed.
