Not that I normally go for 'threat' however I have been known to sarcastically remark to a careless male prone to losing papers I have provided that I could arrange attachment by staple to a tender part of the anatomy ... amazing how their memory immediately improves for some time
... needless to say the stapler has never actually been called into service in this context ... do you think that is because I keep a long arm, heavy duty stapler on my desk instead of one of those wee ones?
