I don't have an iphone but do have a reasonably good camera phone. It costs extra to surf so I tend not to use my mobile for that since I have internet access at home.
I use my mobile for -
Contacts
Calls
Texts
Diary reminders and events
and very occasional alarm clock (came into its own in Tunisia last year when my radio-controlled travel clock reset to UK time overnight and I had an early call - thank god for the phone!)
and very occasional camera
What on earth did we do before all this? Anybody remember those blissful days when, if you weren't near a phone, you weren't in touch?! When the car or train or bus was a "safe haven"?
I'm still amazed at how often one sees people walking along either talking or texting - we never needed to be constantly talking or in touch before!!! What on earth do we find to talk about all the darn' time!!
