My challenges for 2009 are a mixed bag of home and work:

Work - there are changes in who I support and the structure of the role - which will be a challenge all it's own.  My contract runs until October this year and we are working hard to find the right niche for me to stay here in a permanent role; so I have a number of projects which will increase my visibility with the powers that be and I need to complete those really well.

Training - I am seriously considering taking the IAM Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management.

Home - I have issues to sort out with an adult 'child' still at home and demotivated; I have recently taken over as Treasurer at Church so establishing myself in that will be challenging.  After several knee injuries I am determined to get back to some good (not necessarily heavy going) hill walking with my dogs this year - so I have set myself the goal of a day's walking one weekend each month.

Personally - During the past year I have discovered that I am quite skilled as a team working and life coach. The result of this has been a much happier team of people to work with and a new really good friend.  I aim to build on this during 2009 and to set an example I want to challenge myself to do something which overcomes a lifetime of fear of heights so I am looking to organise a team activity day which will provide this Challenge for me and where they can be supportive.

So quite a bit to pack into the next 10 months!  I'll get started and try and let you know how I go on from time to time.
