If it's a sit down people always tend to be with the same group - clicks if you will. Take a few minutes before hand and give each chair at the tables a different color napkin, post it or the like. Now have a table matched up to that postit color. Everyone has to get up and move to their new table - give a few minutes for each person to tell something about themselves to the table that others may not know about him or her. For example I'm sure my co workers don't know that I once stood on a police car to take a picture!
