I brought up a group luncheoun to celebrate Boss' Day but didn't receive much response. So I replied to the group via email saying that the luncheon was canceled. Lo and behold, reverse psychology worked and we got almost everyone in the office to pitch in time or money to decorate, buy the food and gifts. The catch was, it was a surprise. So yesterday, one of our boss' assistants told him there was a meeting in a conference room. Of course, everyone was hiding there. Once he arrived, we all yelled Happy Boss' Day! He was very surprised and appreciative. He's even wearing the tie we got him today. It was great fun.
I'm thinking we need to surprise one of the other boss' for next year. What do you think?
