Gratitude is very important and I sometimes wish we had a "Thanksgiving Day" here in England (but I am aware of the history of the US thanksgiving).
I am grateful for:
the gift of life: it's my birthday today (HAppy birthday to me. HAppy birthday to ME ...);
the gift of good health (I've had some difficulties in recent years, so I really appreciate good health);
the gift of living in a country where I have freedom, and freedom of speech;
my family;
my friends;
my job;
chocolate.
