My biggest time-saving tips are to plan things properly, prioritize appropriately and re-prioritize as necessary.
I have a substantial workload and number of meaty projects of my own, let alone what Bossie gives me from time to time, and would be absolutely sunk if I didn't have a mania for organization. It doesn't matter whether you use project manager software, Outlook or simple pen and paper - taking time to plan saves time in the end. I have yet to miss a deadline or for one of my projects to go wrong.
