Bosses Day is always October 16th.  This year, that just happens to be a Sunday.  It's your call then as to whether to "observe" it with them on Friday or Monday.  I usually use the old "if it's on Saturday, celebrate on Friday" rule.  When the date falls on a Sunday then, I celebrate on Monday.  Hope this helps.
