I don't know, Gee, there's something about company-related travel that seems to bring out the "wheeler-dealer" in some people. I know in the US folks have credit cards that earn them points for flights or upgrades and other cards have other benefits -- maybe that's what your traveler is angling for with the two credit cards?
I know that if I were in a position to travel for my job, I'd make darn sure to have and use a company card and not mix my finances with the company's. But that's just me.
But even IF I tried to go that route, I'd set it up myself, not hand it to somebody else to handle. I mean, if you're going to make it that complicated for your personal benefit, then YOU deal with the headache!
