I turn the daily tasks over to 3 other coordinators. This includes travel, meeting arrangements, and urgent purchase orders.
Other than that, my work involves a lot of meeting minutes and reporting, which can usually wait. I must admit, though, when I was out 3 days last week for a conference, my e-mail really piled up high. I've taken care of the urgent matters, but still need to dig into it. And we had to get our 2008 calendar order in yesterday, so that took up a great deal of my week. I was so glad when Friday finally arrived.
