I like the color post it idea to group the attendees.

After they are re-seated, have each write 3 things on a notepad about themselves.  I true and the rest false statements.  In the groups, they go around the table, read their lists and the rest of the group guesses what is true.  

It's a 20 minute exercise, but can get a group acquainted and break the ice.
