Sound Off as a heading

Susan - not so busy today and while having time on my hands am browsing through DD and it struck me about the title of Sound Off for a heading.  To me this almost sounds as if it is somewhere to go if you are cross/annoyed about something and want to 'sound off' - 'let off steam' rather than an area for discussion/thoughts etc.

Am I alone in interpreting it in this way?

Not criticising of course just an observation

I inherited it so no idea, I take it as sounding off on any particular topic.  It is hard to think up "controversial" topics and it is funny, if I do a thought provoking post (like problems facing PAs and Admins) we get 2 posts, I post something silly favorite type of pen we get 20 posts.
