Wow... hadn't thought of Alien Nation is quite sometime. Really liked that show, which was surprise cause most 'sci fi' shows don't do it for me. However...hehehe... when my son was born, I swore he belonged on Alien Nation (thanks to vacuum suction deforming the shape of his head... but it went back to 'normal' after a bit).

For the new shows this season...
We're giving 'Studio 60' a try - we loved West Wing... not quite sure if it's going to pan out for us - first show seemed iffy. I fell asleep last night before it came on, so will have to see what DH thought of it.
The Class... seems like it has potential. My kidlet (who's 9) was watching it with me - and the adult humor was above her head enough that she didn't catch on to anything I'd have to do some explaining for!
DH likes MythBusters, Overhaul, American Chopper, and any war movie around.
We watch alot of FoodNetwork TV too.... Rachel Ray, Alton Brown, Iron Chef America.
