What time do you go to work? Is it before, after or about the same time as your boss? Do you ever get to work early or stay late (when no one is around) and get more work done?

I get to work at 8 am, but there are times I go to work as early as 6 am. I can get what feels like a WHOLE days work done in those two hours. It is amazing how many times we get interrupted without realizing it. Staying late, doesn't work. My boss gets in about 8:30 to 9 and stays late.

What time do you go to work? Usually at my desk for 7.30am.
Is it before, after or about the same time as your boss? Before. He gets in about an hour later.
Do you ever get to work early or stay late (when no one is around) and get more work done? Mmm you don't call 7.30 early? We start at 8am and work flexi so if necessary we can stay late but I never need to as I manage my time and workload pretty well.

I work from 8:30 - 5 with a 1/2 hour lunch that I rarely take.
Boss usually gets in after me, but stays later. As long as my commute is, his is longer by half so trafficwise it makes sense for him to avoid the main rush hours. He also has the capacity to work from home, so it's not unusual for me to see emails from him from 7AM.
I don't mind coming in early, but really do everything in my power to avoid staying late. Boss is good about that and only asks (asks, not demands) it in a true emergency. At that, I've never had to hang around for more than 1/2 hour.

Usually at my desk for around 9, bossie generally in an hour or so before me. Try to leave around 5, unless there's an evening meeting in which case it's nearer 8 sometimes. Bossie generally there till about 6 unless he has the same evening meetings as me, or others.

I work roughly 8:30 to 5.
Boss's schedule varies. If he's in the office, he's often in ahead of me or within a few minutes. However he travels and has meetings so often he's not really at his desk all that much.

I have mulitpkle jobs, one from a home office that starts about 7am the other is three days a week in an employer's office that I get to sometime between 8 and 8:30. Fortunately I am able to be fliexible as long as I get my work done in the hours I have promised her. My boss, is always in later than me, if she is able to come in. I work late as needed, but find myself working into the evening at my home office job. Additionally, I am available to my boss from my home office, and can include this time in my weekly pay. It sounds like "the good life" but it's still work. Realistically though, I am fortunate to be able to have some "work from home" time, plus my commute is only 10 minutes. I do not miss the days when I had to clock in and out and be there five days a week, plus checking voice mail on the weekend.
