Gee, it's the same here. The only reason I got these was that I did the events guy a favour and then he asked me why I never ask for tickets! I wait for people to offer because I'm too polite to ask normally
, he immediately offered me the choice of three events that week
and so I pushed it a bit about Silverstone and he's going to look into it for me.
He also told me not to be so daft about asking in the future!
With my guys I am a bit of a favourite as they know I will get the job done and if I can't then I will chase whoever will. If they reward me then it's fine but I never expect favours back.
