I know I'm chiming in late here....(how ironic is that!)
For me, it's the shower. I'm a morning shower person mainly because I have fine, thin, oily hair that must be washed every day. (It's like an angel food cake - the slightest bit of grease and it falls flat.) But I've come to enjoy those four minutes in the shower. Part of it is the soothing sound of the water itself. I turn the showerhead to the "pulse" setting and use it to work out the kinks in my back. In the winter, the warm water helps me warm up (house gets chilly overnight) and in the summer, a shower on the cool side of tepid is refreshing. It's kind of like starting the day with a massage, which is good because my one-hour plus commute -- half on a jammed interstate and half through a congested city -- can be enough to ruin a day sometimes.
