I love the weekends when I don't have to put the alarm clock on, but during the week that "beep-beep" definitely wakes me up.
What gets me up in the morning? How many days it is to salary day.
Seriously, I love my job. It is very demanding, but I enjoy it. Then there's that morning shower, breakfast, my first cup of tea, and a little trip to the garden to put out food for the birds.
Travelling on the Tube, here in London, is a cultural experience like no other and has an etiquette of its own. Still, it's a good place to read the newspaper, read a book or have a little snooze, plan my grocery list, plan the day ahead.
So, by the time I reach my lovely office, I am ready to do battle.
