That's the verdict of PA Jan Maissen on the new NOBO P3 Laser Pointer, which was featured on DeskDemon a few weeks ago.

This innovative device not only makes presentations a breeze but allows you to access your emails, surf the web and check your diary at the same time.

We felt the P3 was the perfect multi-tasker for our multi-tasking readers, so we asked three of you to put the P3 through its paces.

Our three reviewers were: Jan Maissen, a PA at LTSB Asset Finance; Val Tuson, UK Travel and Expenses Co-ordinator, Unilever UK and Joanna Saunders, Office & Project Co-ordinator, International Golf and Resort Management Ltd.

DD: How easy was the P3 to use?

Jan: "This was the first time I had used a wireless mouse and was surprised how user friendly the P3 was, from connection through to controlling the presentation".

Val: "The P3 is attractive to look at and I quite liked the sparkly ball in the middle. I found it extremely easy to connect to my laptop - remarkable considering I am a little technically challenged".

Joanna: The P3 "is nice and slim and looks a little futuristic". It was "very easy" to connect up, with "pretty straightforward" instructions.

DD: What did you think of the P3's added features?

Jan: "It was a pleasant surprise to find that the batteries were included, and the USB extension cable was also a plus. I didn't use the laser pointer but it is a useful function to have, as are the tabbing facilities, which enable you to open up various applications, at a touch of a button".

Val: "I used the remote mouse facility but not the cable and found it to be quite useful but have to admit that I only used the laser pointer really in my proper presentation as the P3 only arrived the day before. I think all the features will be very useful when I have had a bit more practice".

Joanna: "I used both the red dot pointer and pages up/down functions and found both easy to navigate and control. The remote mouse and tabbing facilities were also very useful".

DD: What was your overall opinion of the P3?

Jan: "The reason I was so pleased to be able to use the P3 is that my objective was and is to create a professional and polished image when giving presentations, to enhance the message being given".

Val: "I will definitely use it again and will probably use it next week when I am presenting again. It avoids having to move between the pc or laptop and the screen or a laser pointer and enables a smoother presentation".

Joanna: "We held a Strategy Planning meeting in our new premises and the P3 made presentations come across with a little more impact and also gave the overall feeling of the meeting as quite 'high tech' which was good".

DD: Would you recommend the P3 to others?

Jan: "The P3 is good value, ergonomic, and very user friendly, and is something I would certainly recommend to anyone who gives presentations".

Val: "I would recommend the P3 to my colleagues as I do believe that it would be very useful for anyone who makes regular presentations".

Joanna: "Yes, I would recommend the P3 - provided it is used on a regular basis".

So there you have it, the 'thumbs-up' for the P3 from all three of our reviewers. The NOBO P3 Point, Page and Present costs £99.99 ex VAT and is available now from your usual office products supplier. For more information on NOBO products, check out www.acco.co.uk/presentation_planning
