In the last month, I've lost half of the admin staff (my coworker) and watched the receptionist (who's title is actually admin. asst.) work herself down to nothing.  Our pseudo-supervisor was the exec. asmin. who retired. I say pseudo because she wasn't truly our supervisor but we took direction from her because she knew how to give it properly (politely) and she had a lot of work to delegate. I think the recep. resents me taking over as supervisor. But this isn't my problem.  My problem is convincing my boss (her boss as well) to either speak to her or to get a new person. I'm tired of doing it all. I get the old exec. admin. replaced tomorrow, but we're looking at a month of learning curve, at least. I have an entire filing system that's over 2 years old to audit, not to mention the filing that piling up. You can take half your day, give it to Andrea and take the other half and give it to me. I'm sure you know how to file things chronologically. Unfortunately, my recep. does not. She just sticking things in the folder any old way, and these are folders I've previously audited! I'm going around in circles!



Sorry to vent, but my boss NEVER takes vacations or days off. I'm stuck with him up my butt and with me being so anal about things, there's barely room for the chair up there without him trying to get some room!!! (See other post about what bothers you)



Hope this is a better week. Oh, yeah, it's supposed to snow a foot here today! Happy frickin' Monday.
