Sorry, but I have little sympathy for you.  You are bright, talented, and now you've finally got a job, which is what you've been after for who knows how long.  You say the computer is your thing.  Well, since you have so much free time, why not start chatting to others about what they're doing.  What problems are they experiencing that you may be able to help them remedy - - on the COMPUTER?!  And, if they're not experiencing computer problems, help them in other areas and maybe the computer projects will come after you've built up trust.  Of all things, don't whine!  Are all the files up to date?  Is there a file guide?  Is there a complete inventory of computer equipment?  Would the I.S. department (if there is one) mind if you assisted them with some of their stuff.  You can think of plenty more stuff, I know.  Here's a little soft kick in that talented pregnant hiney of yours:  GET MOTIVATED AND DETERMINED.  Just DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING  !!  (Get the message?!)  Love ya - GE
