I think the part timers should be offered at the same time as full timers. Surely more than 16 won't want to go anyway, but if they do.... Where I work, we have a lot of long term temporary staff, a situation I'm unhappy with but I think as far as we can we have to treat them the same as permanent staff, a view that I'm glad to say local management share. Particularly as some of them stay for years.
