Worst day ever?  Sad, but when a co-worker's son was killed by a car.  The car wasn't going fast, he was just a little thing and ran into the street at the wrong time.  That same day we had a huge account cancel and a long term co-worker and good friend give notice.   Worst day ever....

Same here, I use my phone all day for work.  My company even offered to pay for my phone.  I didn't want to do that, I would feel they could watch my private life as well.

It is funny, I read back on this thread and still haven't found a new job.  I just keep falling farther and farther behind and .. just don't care any more.  I do the best I can and do as much as I can.  When I get yelled at for not doing something, I let it slip on by.  I did almost lose it the other day but stayed professional.

They are thinking about making my job 1/2 time.  As much as I can understand why, I can't afford to live on 1/2 time.  It is time to bring out the resume again.  I just hope I can find something new before they cut the hours.

Answering the main line.  Just when you think it will be calm and you can get that project done, someone calls that takes 15 minutes to work with!

One Work Goal - To organize my email box.   For now I have most my documents in my in folder.  At some point I want to organize them into folders. 

I started a new job a while back.  I keep thinking it will get more busy.  I come up with busy work, I have improved process and doing a good job in what I do and have been given.  Ok with all that I am still so bored!  There are days I feel like I will fall alseep at my desk.  I keep thinking it will busier but it doesn't!  I have talked to my manager and get little projects.  I would like to wait at least a few years, I don't like job jumping but not sure if I should.   Would you keep a job that for the most part shouldn't be a full time job.  Any suggestions?

Would you tell your manager about co wokers that come in late, leave early, take lots of smoke/bathroom breaks and walk out of the office for private phone calls.  I can't see how these people feel good about all the time they waste!  You would think they have some work ethics.   I started to mention something and stopped.  I don't want to appear I am complaining.  What would you do?

Depends on the company culture, but I would cover up if interviewing.  Once I learn about the dress code I would decide.  I do not have any tatoos, so just my thoughts.
