Vacation time

As a 23 year federal employee, I get 208 vacation hours yearly, 104 sick hours yearly and all the national holidays. You can carry over up to 240 vacation hours from one year to the next and unlimited sick hours. One of the perks of federal employment and trust me, with four kids, it's the rare year I carry over 240 hours!!!

I'm just hopin' I have more fun at work than you, Phoenix, so that I can bear the thought of you having a whole lot more leeway in the department than most of the rest of us. But, that is great, like you said, especially with four kids. You are a wonder mom! I know only 3 people with 4 kids, and 2 of them manage to work a full-time job. One does a volunteer activity, too. My hat's off to you!!

Thanks, GE. But with all the running around I did last night for two of those four, I started a new thread instead of posting as a reply where it should have gone.
See what I think of this site--I go without sleep to see what's happening.
Now I think I'll check my leave balance, leave a little early and take a nap before the offspring get home from school!
