When was the last time you cleaned and dusted your work area?  I  don't mean being organized but actually cleaned under and around monitors, use a Wndex type product, Lysol... etc?

Our cleaning company changed recently so things like our pc's, desks and phones are not cleaned as much as they were before.  The cleaners before were cleaning around desks, work surfaces and toilet areas nearly all day.  It's now down to us to do it ourselves and I have to say it's once in a blue moon.

We do have a cleaner come in three days a week, but he's not the cleanest of people himself and does tend to move the dirt around!

I have a can of furniture polish and a couple of dusters and I do all the surfaces once or twice a week, I only have a small office so it doesn't take any time, and it's just part of my routine now. Clear the desk, dust and then I have space to do the filing etc.

Te one hing that drives me to despair are the windows, but we can't reach them and even when the cleaning co have been they are still dirty Sad

Last Friday.  I usually get around to it once a month or so.  Our cleaners strictly do floors and trash only, everything else you're on your own.

Friday before Memorial week. I usually clean EVERYTHING before I go on vacation.  I was off the entire week after Memorial Day Holiday, and I don't like to leave a mess.  SO, I clean and pickup anything I don't want other hands or eyes to see and get without me knowing about it.  I lock everything up as the front door is right outside my hallway.  I get 95% of the door when Im here, so it was interesting to hear who got the door while I was away.  Wait til the next vacation on that one. LOL!  AT any rate, usually at least once a month or more if I get the time.

I'm really bad about this.  Our housekeeping staff does trash and recycling and mops the floors.  I think every once in a great while they flit a duster through the office, but that happens only very rarely.  So, I really should get after it myself.  However, I end up doing it about once every 6 months or so

Usually about every 2 weeks I'll dust really good and vacuum my office (we're all responsible for our own areas).  I'll also straighten and dust the reception area as it needs it.

Come to think of it...this place is looking a little dusty.....

We're a cube farm with a cleaning service, but they just dump the trash each day and vacuum once a week.  They're not permitted to touch our desks.  I try to give mine a dusting with a swiffer once a week, but things have been crazy and I haven't had a chance lately.  I'll have to give everything a swipe before I go home...

Our cleaners dust etc every day.  However, I give my desk and equipment a thorough clean about twice a month.  No-one else uses my equipment so it's in pretty good condition.

We have cleaners that come in early morning.  But I have to say that I looked at my keyboard earlier and it is very grim - being black it shows all the dust & grime.  Think I'll have to have a wipe over it!!

The desks are polished weekly, if any wood can be seen through the piles of paper.  But nothing is moved on there... heck!  I'd never find anything.

Last time I did was today, I like how my desk looks when it's been freshly polished.  I probably do a full deep-clean of my office about once a month but polish my desk and cabinets about once a week.

I haven't had time to clean at work.  I will wipe down the PC and keyboard about twice a month.  We have a cleaning staff that cleans nightly, empty trash and recycling.  I do have her windex the conference table when I'm there late and catch her.  Boss is on vacation next week.  I may make it a point to windex the desk tops and get the dust bunnies out of the corners.
