Do you fancy hosting a client function in Moscow or holding a staff outing in Earl’s Park? Well, you can do both at home by visiting Epsom Downs Racecourse!

Epsom Downs’ Queen’s Stand has doubled as an international airport in the Bond film Goldeneye and was used as a setting for ITV’s Footballer’s Wives.

It’s hard to pick the star among all the services and facilities on offer.

It could be the array of function rooms and private boxes available, the wonderful food on offer or the superb views across the racecourse back to London.

Even if you’re not a dedicated punter, by the time you’ve picked your favourite colour or name and ventured a small wager, it’s hard to tell which is beating louder – your heart or horses’ thundering hooves as they head towards the finish.

When it all becomes too much, rest your weary legs at the restaurant. Here the action is on-screen - you won’t miss a minute of excitement. Roving bookies enable you to have a flutter while you enjoy a meal equal to none, washed down with a wonderful range of wines.

If you have a private soiree in mind, why not book a function room or private box?

Ideally located overlooking the racecourse, with your own balcony, in-room catering and visiting bookies, you need never leave the comfort of your box.

A private box can seat 16 or accommodate 24 for a standing buffet, while some boxes take up to 58 guests.

They are all accessible by lift and have easy access to view the paddock and winner’s circle. In-box televisions keep you up-to-date with other sporting events.

Strolling around the course, you’ll never want for a snack or drink as you encounter a champagne and seafood bar, cafes and food and watering outlets.

To add extra excitement, Epsom Downs also offers sponsorship packages, with race naming rights. They allow you and your clients into areas such as the parade ring and the presentation area to present the prizes.

You receive on and off-course banners, branding on the winning post, racecards for your guests, advertising in the racecard and the opportunity to place a company logo or short advertisement on the CCTV throughout the day.

The facilities at the racecourse are equally good for conferences and banquets on race or non-race days.

The function rooms can cater for receptions, dinner dances or banquets for up to 500 people. The swanky Queen’s Stand restaurant holds 300, if you want it to yourself.

Special events and themed parties are also on offer.

The Queen’s Stand is also a purpose built conference centre comprising seven main meeting rooms. It caters for up to 400 delegates. Smaller meeting rooms offer the flexibility of handy break-out rooms if required - or simply smaller gatherings.

Board meetings, lunches, seminars and product launches can all be accommodated, supported by audio and visual equipment.

Prices start at just £70 for a half-day, enabling you to keep your Finance Director happy.

And if you haven’t given any thought to your Christmas party yet, Epsom Downs’ Winter Wonderland Christmas parties offer a drinks reception, three course meal and a half-bottle of wine per person, plus a disco, for only £58 per person.
