Talk about "Flaming June"; with endless football on the box, the build up to Wimbledon not to mention Big Brother (seven series?! How?! Why?!), you might as well be invisible rather than try to get a decent conversation out of the other half- one grunt for "Yes", two grunts for "No".

All you crave is a bit of quality time.
