Information

Z is for.....Zealous !

Okay, I admit it. Finding a word that began with Z that fitted with us as PAs was a little challenging - I toyed with the idea of writing about zzzzzz’s and getting enough sleep in our profession (based on a rather interesting Facebook post that is doing the rounds on how much sleep children should be getting!) but then decided on Zealous because (she says, flicking though her Roget’s Thesaurus – the old fashioned way...) it means

  • Devoted

  • Diligent

  • Dedicated

  • Enthusiastic

  • Eager and

  • Passionate

and I can imagine you all nodding now in agreement with those words being synonymous with the PA profession!

In fact the word "Zealous" appears on my A-Z collation document of the Executive PA. Just when I think I have a "complete" list I meet and work with another PA client who adds their own words and input and I'm sure you will have your own additions to this list.

I am delighted to let you know that the Pearls (revised and updated) will feature in a book called "The A-Z Pearls of Wisdom for Executive PAs" which will imminently "hit the book shelves" - all very exciting I'm sure you will agree.

So, I want to end these Pearls of Wisdom with sharing the A-Z collation sheet with you and saying "thank you" to DeskDemon for featuring the articles and to you for reading them.
