Question: How did you get your job?Did you use an agency? Was it though reccommendation? Did you simply send your CV to the company?

I found my first job in this company through a temp agency, and moved up to administrative assistant, then to my current position as executive marketing assistant, where I support the CMO.

I am in the US but found my job through a friend. There was an openning in her company and she sent the job description to me, interviewed FOUR times (for the one position) and was hired. In the end she received a referal bonus as well so it was a win win situation.

I started on a contract basis as a site administrator, when that contract ended I joined the buying team as a junior buyer, from there I moved to operations as a office administrator, got promoted to PA to the MD and now and Executive PA supporting the CEO! Took five years and some risks but I am exactly where I wanted to be when I first joined the Company.
