The St David's Hotel & Spa awarded gold medal for commitment to excellent customer service

The St David's Hotel & Spa in Cardiff, a PH Hotel, has been awarded a gold medal by Visit Wales in recognition of its high levels of customer service.
 
St David's Hotel & Spa was assessed by independent mystery shoppers from Visit Wales who scored the hotel against a rigorous set of criteria including testing its levels of customer service by email, telephone and web content with the popular hotel gaining the highest level in all three areas.
 
General manger of The St David's Hotel & Spa,Graeme Barclay, said: "We are honoured to have received a Gold Award by Visit Wales. I am very proud of my team for their motivation and commitment which helped achieve such a prestigious industry accolade."
 
Business Minister, Edwina Hart, commented: "Tourism is one our key growth sectors, contributing £4bn to the Welsh economy each year. The Gold Award winners are examples of accommodation businesses that are setting an exceptionally high benchmark of quality and exceed customer expectation in all respects.
