Church House Conference Centre invests in high speed broadband

2 November: Church House Conference Centre has invested in the installation of faster broadband making it even easier for visitors to get online.

The installation of a 100MB per second broadband line is the latest upgrade to take place at Church House Conference Centre – it also recently invested £100,000 in AV equipment and furniture. Burstable to 1GB per second, the improvement to the internet service means Church House Conference Centre can accommodate even the most challenging audio visual requirements.

Robin Parker, general manager at Church House Conference Centre comments: “We are continually looking at ways to update and improve the facilities and the services we offer. Increasing the broadband speed is just part of this and will ensure that visitors who have a focus on mobile working are fully catered for. The super-fast broadband connection is also perfect for facilitating large events and a wide range of AV services such as web conferencing and streaming.

With a wide range of technology and skills at their disposal, the venue’s award winning AV team offers an extensive range of services including production management, stage management, CAD design, filming, live broadcast co-ordination, audio recording, video conferencing, live voting, set lighting and sound design as well as operating and set up.

Located in the heart of Westminster, with 19 diverse rooms which accommodate up to 650 guests, Church House Conference Centre offers event spaces to suit all requirements.  As well as conferences and meetings, it hosts award ceremonies, dinner dances, receptions, product launches, exhibitions graduations and many other events.
