It's game on at the Le Cercle restaurant

Last August, The Glorious Twelfth marked the beginning of the game season. However it is on Tuesday 2nd October that the season will officially open in Chelsea with the launch of Le Cercle’s new menu. Game on!
 
A favourite of the kitchen, Wild Game is a must as they really represent the essence of this time of the year. So, Head Chef Pierre Mirepoix went hunting for new flavours to present some tasteful new creations - wood pigeon “Royale”, pickled grapes and chicory (£10.50); braised and seared venison, vanilla oil, salsifis and juniper macaroon (£15); roast grouse, sweet pumpkin and Armagnac “croustous” (£25).

For the gourmet and gourmand connoisseurs, the restaurant also offers a special tasting menu “Traditions” where guests can taste a selection of five courses with three different types of game: wood pigeon, hare and venison. The menu is priced £39.50 (or £64.50 with wine pairings).
 
Le Cercle also gives its best shot to introduce the finest of autumnal fishing and harvesting, the A la carte will feature some great dishes with freshly picked mushrooms such as cassolette of pine morels, soft boiled egg and persillade (£8.50) or wild mushrooms and baby Royans ravioles (£12) as well as seasonal fishes such as plaice fillet, aioli, greens and girolles fricassee (£12.50) or Roast monkfish, smoked onion cake and greengage (£17).
 
The kitchen team worked on fresh new dishes for fall, picking up the best-tasting and premium ingredients that the guests have come to expect. Throughout autumn the restaurant will also include partridge, woodcock, mallard, pheasant or goose in its menu.

Le Cercle Lounge Restaurant
Le Cercle Restaurant is all about refined French cuisine. The à la carte highlights the French food in all its glory with a Tour de France of flavours. While the Lounge is dedicated to great cocktails and relaxed dining with small portion dishes – ideal to share with friends.
 
-         Tasting menu: £39.50 (or £64.50 with wine pairings)
-         Pre/Post-Theatre menu: 2 Courses £18.50 / 3 Courses £23.50
-         Lunch menu : Today from the market (dish of the day) £ 9.50 / 2 Courses £18.50 / 3 Courses £23.50
-         Wine Tasting Dinner: On the last Tuesday of each month, Le Cercle organises wine dinner. On Tuesday 30th October, the menu will be paired with five wines of Maison M. Chapoutier from Rhône Valley. (5 courses – 5 wines for £49).
