Virgin Atlantic Airways has launched its first direct service between Manchester and Las Vegas.

Already offering a number of Las Vegas flights from the UK, the new Manchester based services will offer those in the north of England the ideal route to travel to one of the most iconic city's in the world.

A Boeing 747-400 aircraft will operate a twice weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays.

These two extra flights will see an additional 40,000 passengers flying to the destination – a 30% increase of Virgin Atlantic’s capacity to Las Vegas.
