Darling, I know _exactly_ what you mean.
Hairdressers are like doctors - find one who doesn't patronise you and who listens and stick with them.
You sound like you could do with a second opinion!

Sorry, I disagree. Things are changing in the profession and people want you to be able to type fast and accurately but not necessarily hold certificates in copy typing. They are quite often interested in other qualifications as well especially for some of the more demanding jobs.
I was 65wpm even when I was looking at the keyboard when my fingers hit them. Different things work for different people.

Beachwear just depends on which beach you are on. My 'beachwear' for the Far East was full-length linen trousers with cotton long-sleeved shirts, walking sandals and cotton socks to avoid blisters. Yes, we were on the beach but it didn't mean I wanted to be half-naked and get roasted!
Cover-alls, kaftans etc are another option. Full length again, very flattering.
Alternately you could wear an anorak and wellies and say you're wearing British beach wear - not all beaches are in California!

Sorry, what? Since when has being an admin been somehow an unworthy position? This isn't the 50s and we are not personal typists. We do stuff that thirty years ago would have got us paid a lot more.
Sorry to hear your friend put you on a downer. You were probably very polite to her even with her outdated views.

You have to give someone notification that there is a problem and give them a chance to change.
When it comes to the firing, take them somewhere quiet and tell them they are fired. Stop there. Don't ask them to justify themselves, don't say anything else until they have accepted that fact. Make it clean, make it quick.

Ah, Jess, you are obviously a quality cook who demands the Real Thing.
Personally, I avoid cooking chocolate like the plague unless I have something that needs to be spread that much more.

Semi-sweet is what we call plain, higher cocoa solids. Cooking chocolate can be milk or plain and has more cocoa butter in (if I remember correctly).

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do.
In Office XP you can use the 'Save as HTML' option and the .htm file created will have a lovely presentation in it. Put the .htm file up on the web and anyone going to that URL can see it - a bit large in file size though.
If it's just the outline you want as a web page, the quickest way would be to view the outline, select all, copy, paste into Word and save as HTML again. It won't have hyperlinks in it though.
You can also put a presentation up on a website and as long as someone has the PowerPoint viewer they can see it.
