I'm still in job search mode... just haven't posted every time I've had an interview, but I just had to share this major ego-boost with you! I had last interviewed with JC, and they wound up not hiring a replacement Admin Asst now, but instead split the position into two: a clerk and a Sr. Staff member. Well, apparently I made an impression on JC nonetheless. I received this e-mail out of the blue:
Donna,
I was given your name both by JC in the XYZ Institute, and by SL in ABC. I am looking for a new admin assistant; my position is... If you are still looking for a new position, I'd love to set up an interview with you.
Just when I was needing a little ego-patting, too.
Interview is tomorrow at 10:00am.

WOW! That's terrific!
My DH has been going thru the job search thing now for 7 months. It's very trying to say the least. How nice to get such an ego-booster out of the blue!

WOW! Good Job Donna! Those interviewing skills paying off and those that know you are looking and the networking is starting to work for you too. Way to go!
