Title: DJ's Post by: supertemp on April 17, 2003, 11:13:14 am Hi
Does anyone know of a good website that lists DJ's/bands in a local area that are available for company events? I'm trying to find DJ's in the greater london area for an event next week. Any ideas would be much appreciated. ST Title: Re: DJ's Post by: Jackie G on April 17, 2003, 11:57:37 am I don't know of any websites - the best advice would be to try either
local hospital radio and see if anyone can do it or your local college media course to see if any aspiring DJs can help! Jackie www.iqps.org Peer Moderator ![]() Title: Re: DJ's Post by: supertemp on April 17, 2003, 12:08:34 pm Thanks - I'll look into that possibility.
I just have to say I think Deskdemon is great - really useful. I don't know if the same situation exists in the UK.
Otherwise, your other suggestions sound promising. Good luck in your search.... :) Title: Re: DJ's Post by: bethalize on April 17, 2003, 12:59:44 pm http://www.absolutemusicians.com/main.htm
http://www.absolutemusicians.com/main.htm -both do bands. It might sound a little odd when your question is definitely work, but all those wedding websites have listings for bands that would probably do something similar to what you want. Confetti.co.uk came up with hundreds of bands when I did a search under their suppliers page. I work for one, and we have many musicians that play all different types of music.
