I have recently joined and I greatly appreciate the different Forums. I live in North Carolina and am an Admin. Officer and a proud mom. My son is in the Navy and is in IRAQ. Go Navy!!!!!!

Welcome Petlover... Representing the Air Force here, as my husband is active duty AF. He's already done his stint in Iraq, and luckily is in the right location and career field not to have to go back (they've recently re-evaluated his area and determined them as non-deployable). But I still say a prayer for all of our military serving their country in Iraq and around the world, and for the families that support them.
I hope that you feel comfortable posting often at DD. We're a friendly and assorted lot, a truly global community, and love to have as many voices as possible on all of our posts. Hope to see you post often!
