I can't find the thread where you discussed your parents going to Mexico for vacation when your baby is due.  What did they decide to do?

Well I pretty much decided that they should go.  Mainly because I knew that once the baby was here it would been too hard for them to later on.



Here's the thing....



If they waited until the baby was born then the trip would have to be put off of course for the following:



1. Baby is here!

2. Time for the baby shower!

3. Oh now it's thanksgiving!

4. Hi Christmas!

5. Happy New Year!

6. Bridget's back to work (who's going to watch the baby?)



So it's better they go now and I don't have worry about them taking their vacation later on you know.  Plus they're the one's who are really going to be helping me out with the baby, babysiting and what have you.  So this is treat for them to get away before they have the big "responsibility" hahahaha I have to laugh at that!    You'd think they were having a baby!



So I think it's for the best and I'm so happy to see my Dad really excited about going.  Of course that doesn't compare to him becoming a grandpa really really soon (and for the 1st time)!  Plus it will help kill some time and we're not all just waiting around.

Sounds to me like you made the best decision for everyone involved.  Who knows, maybe baby will hold off being born until after they return from vacation.  That would be WAY cool!  Hope your swelling has gone down.
